Sea Kayak trip - Poole Harbour

Poole Harbour Canoe Club have offered to provide Newbury Canoe Club members with the opportunity to learn sea kayaking.  This will start at a basic level whilst they assess our skills but there is the potentail for regular trips, if there is demand,  around poole harbour and out along the Jurassic coast of the Isle of Purbeck.  This is a fabulous opportunity, over a series of trips to learn how to sea kayak and to experience a wonderful part of the world including, one of the UK's largest rewilded areas, breeding ospreys, Brownsea island, River Frome, Old Harry Rocks, Studland and Swanage bays and the Isle of Purbeck coastline.  This intial trial day is for 12 paddlers led by coaches from Poole Harbour Canoe Club.  All we need to do is assemble 12 people and get down there.  Phil Bartle has volunteered to co-ordinate our group and sort out travel arrangements.  It is an approx 1 1/2 hour trip down to PHCC.
